Our November Holiday Share food drive was a big success. PV families donated more than 150 bags of food which were distributed to needy families throughout Novato. A special thanks to Theresa Hakes, Linda Blum, Carol Lamont, and Heather Sargent for making it happen!

December 3rd marks the beginning of our Holiday food and toy drive, and it will continue through December 14th. Once again, we are counting on the proven generosity of our PV families to help provide food, toys and books to those who are less fortunate.

On Monday, you will see the familiar blue bins lined up along the drop-off loop ready to accept your donations. So, take a moment to look through your cupboards or purchase some extra non-perishable items on your next trip to the grocery store. Additionally, unwrapped toys, books and gift cards will be collected and distributed to newborns and children up to the age of 17.

The customary grocery bags are included in your Friday folder. Attached to each, you will find a "Winter Wishes" card that your child can fill out with their own wishes or wishes that can be passed along to those who will be receiving the donations. These will be posted in the multi-purpose room throughout the month of December.

Your contributions make a BIG difference to the clients of Novato Human Needs. They go directly to local families who might not otherwise be able to celebrate the season. Thank you for your generosity.
